Programme 02 · Undergraduate

Calculus, linear algebra and the reasoning underneath

Course support for first- and second-year modules, taught by a METU (ODTÜ) Mathematics and Computer Science double-major graduate. Sessions are built around your lecture notes, your problem sheets and your assessment dates — not a generic syllabus.

Subjects

Modules covered

Configurable module names are edited per region from the admin panel, so they match local course titles.

Precalculus

Functions, logarithms, sequences, foundations.

Calculus I

Limits, continuity, derivatives and their applications.

Calculus II

Integration techniques, sequences and series.

Calculus III

Multivariable calculus, partial derivatives, multiple integrals.

Linear Algebra

Matrices, spaces, eigenvalues, transformations.

Discrete Mathematics

Logic, proof, combinatorics, graphs, recursion.

Probability

Distributions, expectation, conditional probability.

Statistics

Inference, testing, regression.

Functions and Trigonometry

Identities, transformations, modelling.

Mathematical Foundations

Proof technique, set theory, mathematical writing.

Exam Revision

Midterms and finals, worked from past papers.

Problem-Solving Sessions

One long problem, taken apart properly.

Academic integrity

Assignment support means teaching, not outsourcing

Graded work is never completed on a student's behalf. What happens instead: the problem is broken down, a comparable problem is solved together, and the student writes their own solution.

If I solve it for you, you will meet it again in the exam and it will be new.
  1. Send the module outline

Lecture notes, problem sheet and assessment dates before the first session.

  2. Identify the actual blocker

Usually two or three foundations, not the whole module.

  3. Teach the comparable problem

The same structure, different numbers — solved together.

  4. You write your own solution

Reviewed and corrected, never written for you.

  5. Revision before assessment

Past-paper work under time, with a marking discussion.

Bring your module outline to the diagnostic lesson.
